Lot's O' Changes
So we're all moved in at my new house now! It's pretty crazy. I wish I was rich and could afford new furniture... c'est la vie.
I also got a NEW job. I feel like I've been through a millions jobs this year oh well. My current title is Interior Designer! woo hoo! I'm with Marshall Field's which I'm sure many of you didn't even know had a furniture department much less a design studio. But yeah, I'll be out on the selling floor for 6mos to 2 years until I build up clientele and then I'll move into the Senior Design Studio. Right now my perks are the Marshall Field's discount, my own desk, personal phone, ummm yeah I think thats about it... clearly the Marshall Field's discount is the highlight of the position ;) However, my manager loves the designers so I can basically come and go as I please which is very nice. When I move into the Senior Design studio I'll have my own office and work much more out of my home and on the job site.
What else... oh yeah, I also got engaged on my birthday! It was quite a shock let me tell ya. We can JUST afford all of our bills as they are, let alone adding another one. Oh well, I'll just have to sell my little heart out! The ring it very pretty though, simple, classic. Dan picked it out all by himself. It's a three stone, white gold with all princess cut diamonds. It's so cute.
I think thats about it, I just figured I'd write in this thing every now and again.
