workity work
wow, work was boring as shit today. i sat on my ass and read for what felt like ever, punctuated by swarms of people that don't know how to space themselves out for my convenience... lol. omg, this one scary man came in and looked so much like mr. mcdermott that i wanted to run into the basement and hide until he left... *shudder* i was ready to fucking scream by the time 5 p.m. rolled around, and then i was like, fuck, i have to do this again monday and tuesday for an extra hour (9:30-5:30 instead of 10-5) and it's really really hot in the boring ass wilton store in the afternoons... ughhh enough of my work bitching.
so yes... tomorrow is bathing suit and shorts shopping with my mom, the health nut who will always weigh 20 pounds less than me. fun. the upside is that she'll probly at least be a big help in the paying for it aspect. ^_^
monday and tuesday is brain-frying work, in which i shall bring my laptop to write and play games, which'll be alright, and then wednesday = free!! from work for (i think) 2 weeks, and thursday garry gets here. (YAY) thursday, friday and saturday will be a delightful romp of packing and fun for all, and hopefully there is a possibility of a movie or wiffleball.... :)
sunday we're up at the asscrack of dawn to be out of the house by like 6:30... ugh... to catch our flight, but disney = totally worth it. hell yes.
in the midst of this, i have to be unpacking my shit in the basement before my brother gets home with all of his summer crap, and the way i'm looking at it is this: if i haven't even thought of some of the junk in the basement in a week, then there's precious little i'll need in the next 2 (including disney) before i move back into my apartment. (btw-- just call my cell and come hang out, it'll be awesome- the campus is so dead we'll have the run of it more or less ^_^- yeah like there's anything to do- but whatever, it's free from parents and a cool place to chill.) ::sneeze::
so yes, speaking of chilling, last night was uber-cool, i went to kylie's and then we went all through stamford picking up rj and jason and movies... and there was so much traffic i wished more than ever that i could just fly over it. dinner was fun, with lots of sexual tension and innuendo over a shirley temple (oh the good times) and we watched movies. i wish i could have stayed later, but i had work at 10 this morning. *sad face* good time had by all, i think. i can't wait to see how kylie does in learning to handle the balls i gave her for her bday. (<-- juggling balls! ooooo i bet i know what you were thinking...)
