She wasn’t going to get away with this. It was so typical of faith to do something like this, come into Buffy’s home and use Buffy’s mother to get at her. It didn’t matter though what Faith did because in the end Buffy would come out ahead. She made the final blow to Faith before and could do it again, of course before it wasn’t actually the final blow. Just put Faith in a comma, but Buffy did it with the intent on making it the end. For awhile she almost thought that herself and her sister slayer could’ve had some sort of bond. It felt nice not being the only chosen one in Sunnydale anymore. Faith could actually understand what it meant being the slayer, something that none of Buffy’s friends could ever understand.
They were face to face as Buffy felt Faith grabbing a hold of her hand. There was so much anger in both of their eyes as they looked at each other. She could feel something cold and metal between their hands and then she started to feel a strange feeling travel throughout her body. Everything inside of her felt like it was changing somehow. The two slayers just looked at each other for a moment as if they were waiting to see what was going to happen and then there was nothing, just blackness…
Beth quickly sat up startled by her dream. It felt so real but she knew it couldn’t be real at all. As she began to fully awake up and get a sense of herself she began to realize how sore her body felt. Mainly in the spots she got hit in her dream which of course was just crazy. “What’s wrong?” She heard coming from the other room as Brad hurried in “What happened Beth? Are you ok?”
“I-I had a dream. It felt so real. I was in some living room fighting this girl. She tired to hurt my mom and friends. She hated me so much. I could feel the hatred from her. And she kept on calling me B”
Brad places his hands on her shoulders as he looks her deep in the eyes “I don’t see how anyone could ever hate you dear.” That brought a bit of a smile to Beth’s face. He always knew how to make her feel better and she loved him for that. There wasn’t that many people that could do that as she always felt different somehow. She almost felt as if she didn’t belong here and that she was meant for something. Whenever she would tell her sister Kate about that she’d just laugh at Beth or say something along the lines of her being meant to be a famous movie star. But that wasn’t really Beth’s dream as it was Kate’s. Sure with the way she grew up the thought of becoming a famous movie star was always a nice one, but that wasn’t really her thing. When they were younger their mother would make them go to auditions all the time but once their mother died Beth stopped going.
Beth sat there for a moment just looking at her fiancé before she finally glanced at the clock. “Oh no” She quickly said as she got out of bed. “I’m going to be late, I’m suppose to met Kate in a few minutes.” She started to slip her black pants back on followed by a red tank top. Running over to the bathroom she looked at herself in the mirror before grabbing one of her brushes that she left at Brad’s apartment and does a quick brush though of her hair. She wasn’t really concerned at this point how she looked because she didn’t have anyone to impress. She had the guy of her dreams right here with her and that was all that mattered.
Once she finished Beth slipped on her shoes and grabbed her purse before giving Brad a kiss goodbye “I’ll call you later hunny.” She said as she headed out the door. As Beth began to walk down the hallway towards the elevator she could tell her body wasn’t feeling like it’s natural self. She must’ve really had a rough time sleeping or something because there was no way her body would ever feel this sore. “Kate will never believe this one” She mumbles to herself as she gets inside the elevator. Her sister would probably think she was crazy for the dream she had and for how she was feeling after it. But the dream felt so real and now she was feeling the after effects of the fight that she had in her dream. How could something like that happen? Of course her father would probably just tell her it was all in her head, something about the mind making you believe what you want to believe. Whatever the case was she felt some sort of strange connection with whoever the girl was in the dream, like she’s seen her before. Which was of course crazy.
