From Chris:
•
KnitPicks Options Interchangeable Needle Set•
Monster House - I always find out it's on TV about half way through! LOL
•
The Tales of Beedle the Bard :D
• In the stocking: Along with some chocolate-light candy, a PVA Floral Bath Sponge and an Exfoliating Bath Cloth (
similar to this), as I have been having complete itching fits and we both think it's because my loofa isn't getting the dead skin off. This foam thing is way cool, too! Looks like a loofa but made with hard PVA that softens when wet.
To us, from his mom:
•
Technique Silicone Baking Board - I used this yesterday for both the Hidden Mint and the Chai Shortbread. The first seems like it needed just a little more time than with a normal baking sheet and the second seems like it could have come out just a minute sooner. But neither were too far off and everything tasted just fine. (I was having issues with everything else seeming a little off, anyhow.) Also, clean up is SO simple!
•
Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party - and whenever we can find/afford the WiiFit and Balance Board, we can also play this game with our butts!
•
Personalized Doormat with cartoon drawings of Chris, me, and Faye.
To me, from his mom:
•
Alex Beard Impossible Puzzle, 'Audience'
•
Chocolate Holidays cookbook - even as someone who isn't the biggest chocolate fan, I found plenty of nummy recipes to try.
• A copper necklace with assorted copper beading (can't find a pic on the Macy's site) that she picked out just to go with the sweater I'm knitting.
• Taste of Home magazine subscription - almost made the Spiced Nuts recipe from my first issue as part of the tins, but no one seemed on board with that idea. Pfft.
From his brother:
•
Knitting 200 Q&A book. I had never seen this book before and started immediately flipping through it - really useful stuff! It has everything from different types of cast ons, bind offs, stitch patterns, how to do jogless striping, to even shaping sweaters and turning heels on socks. It's a perfect addition to my knitting bag.
• He also bought Chris a new DVD player, which I'll likely use more than he does. hehe (We moved the old one in here, yay!)
From his aunt on dad's side:
• White cabled sweater... in a different color of the exact sweater I was wearing at the time! LOL She almost bought the same color, too, except she couldn't find it in my size. Which is funny, because I almost bought the white one - thinking I need to wear brighter colors every once in awhile - but our store didn't have that one in my size.
From his uncle on dad's side and his girlfriend:
• silver bracelet
From his cousin on dad's side and her girlfriend:
• $50 gift card for Kroger's. They were trying to think practical this year and figured everyone needs groceries; I agree. Great idea!
From his step-mom:
• gift certificate for us, for Tumbleweed
From his uncle and aunt on mom's side:
• Cranberry Orange candle
