Hi. I saw the promo for this community in ftm, and thought I'd join.
A little about me:
I am 18 years old, started testosterone just over three months ago. I was raised in the Baptist church, but have been attending Metropolitan Community Church for about two years, because of the caring and welcoming environment there. They have been providing me with a lot of the spiritual support I have needed whilst beginning my transition.
I am currently in the process of converting to Catholicism, because as I have slowly been reassessing all the things I was taught in the Baptist church, I am finding that the answers I am finding to my questions are leading me closer and closer to Catholicism.
So that's me in a nutshell. I've included a little bit of humour behind the cut, I hope it's appropriate.
He must have been JEWISH,
because:
1. He went into His Father's business.
2. He lived at home until He was 33.
3. He was sure His mother was a virgin, and she was sure He was God.
Then again, He must have been BLACK,
because:
1. He called everyone "Brother."
2. He liked Gospel.
3. He couldn't get a fair trial.
Then again, He must have been ITALIAN,
because:
1. He talked with his hands.
2. He had wine with every meal.
3. He used olive oil.
Then again, He must have been CALIFORNIAN,
because:
1. He never cut His hair.
2. He walked around barefoot all the time.
3. He started a new religion.
Then again, He must have been IRISH,
because:
1. He never got married.
2. He was always telling stories.
3. He loved green pastures.
However, there is positive proof that He was a WOMAN,
because:
1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was no food.
2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it.
3. Even when he was dead, He had to get up because there was more work to do!
