POV: Frank
I smile weakly at the man before me as I empty my wallet and my pockets. I watch as he just stares at me intently, trying to work out what I'm doing.
Starting over.
All my bags are upstairs, waiting for me to collect them. Nothing is left of me in this house, and he knows this, as tears start falling down his flushed cheeks I can no longer look at him. I need him to understand that I'm doing this for both of us, that I can't be here anymore.
"Frank!" His voice sounds desperate and scared. "please don't leave me."
The photo's are placed on the table and he hiccups. His sobs are so loud now they're ringing in my ears, I can't escape. I turn to walk out of the door only stopping once to see him drag the photo's towards him. And I'm gone.
It'll be as if I never existed, only one single message will prove my existence.
I'm sorry.
I can't do this anymore.
But always know this.
