Introduction........
Hey all.. I'm new here... so I thought I should introduce myself. I'm Ashley,(in my user pic) *waves.* O live in sydney and i've only just started to learn staff. I've got two pixie sticks, a glo staff, and I just purchased a larger staff! Its amazing how many people talk to you when you carry an unlit staff around with you.
I was catching the train home the other day (to newtown) with my newest purchase, and I had an old lady ask me if I had a weapon, a young guy told me not to EVER light it on fire cause its dangerous, a station assistant tell me about some chinese acupuncture that uses kerosene, and then finally a girl about my age who said that she used to twirl and I spent the remainder of the train ride home talking to her about twirling and the like.
Anyhow, I've only been twirling for a month or so so I'm very new to it, but i've been practicing a bit and turning up to glebe every thurs night to meet with other twirlers.
Its great fun, and I cant wait to be one of those people who say, "Oh I've been twirling for years"
