I can't believe it, I finally got hired at Wolfram and Hart and wow, I'm so excited. I told my parents and they were so happy for me, taking me out to dinner and practically telling everyone in the world that I was this big time lawyer. That's parents for you though, I'm only going to be interning for now. For Lindsey McDonald. I bet she's great and I hope we have fun. Fun is a good thing, but can you have fun at a lawfirm? I guess I'm going to find out.
Today, I was going to check her out and see her in action. I knew there was a courtdate coming up, so I went ahead and reminded myself. Stepping out of the shower, I go ahead and get ready, making myself look nice and professional. This is like my big break, or a preview to my big break and I'm so nervous. Daddy bought me a brand new BMW for my graduation present. I love it so much. Makes me seem ... better than everyone else in a way. Yeah, it's only a BMW but I keep it up and everything. When it's over, I stand up, walking over to him, happy that he won the case and I'm just happy, excited anyway. Tapping him on the shoulder, I wait until he turns around. When he does, I hold my hand out, "Hi! I'm ... Britney, Britney Patterson and I'm your intern, and let me tell you how great that was. I was in awe and it was just ... wow." I feel like I'm meeting a celebrity, I swear. I know I look like a dork, but I'm so happy to be working with him.
