holy crap! two entries in one month? It's amazing!
nick left for the field again the other day. he'll be home soon, though. i have the worst case of insomnia when he's gone. no matter how tired i am, i can't fall asleep. and then eventually i'll crash at some point, which is making house-training brody difficult. i can't keep him on a schedule because i'm not on one myself.
the days that nick comes home from the field, i usually make a goodie of some sort and a really good dinner. since he was gone for vday, i made milk & white chocolate strawberries, bananas, pineapple, marshmellows, cherries, etc. sometimes i'll do lasagna. or make cookies. this time i've decided it's cupcakes & pot roast. haha what a weird combination.
i've started making plans for my trip home while nick's in lejeune for squad leaders. adrie's signing up for second summer term, so she'll be able to fly up in may and then drive home with me :) yay! we're mulling over the idea of maybe doing a disney trip, or at least a stay in wilderness lodge<3
poor christina. she knocked on my door today and i thought she was gonna cry. she's sick & her apartment flooded. but the carpet people came and cleaned it up.
nick's extension pay from MAY is finally hitting this month! and with our tax return, we're sitting pretty. maybe we can re-do the guest & master rooms soon.
side note: i'm really sick of getting other people's mail.
