(no subject)
let's start with an update, shall we? a few weekends ago kyle and i went up to orlando to see his family, and to hang out with keri and scott. we spent way too much time at walmart and went to see steven's tree. we went out on the boat and made fun of everyone who waves. because it's stupid. yes, i realize we are both on a boat. do you need to wave hello to everyone you see, on a boat? because i'm pretty sure they don't care. anyway.
i havent been working that much but the lack of being there is good for my mood. everytime things get a bit better something happens and i want to quit that second. nina's last day is sometime next week. i've had mostly closing shifts lately, which i like sometimes because it changes things up a bit. i met our new supervisor, and he's kinda cute but way gay. i can't stomach sean for one more shift; he drives me mad. i took four days off around july 4th. but for the next two weeks after that i'll have to work almost every day to catch up on cash. oh, i got my six month raise though.
libby's been sick again. she's been throwing up for the past few days, and she's weary about eating. but she goes through a food protest every few months. i switch the dog food, and she's good. if she throws up today i'm taking her to the vet. a few weeks ago, chevaun and i took her and loki to the awesome dog park at markham. they went nuts over one of those plastic walmart pools. we took wayy too many pictures of them ha.
my desktop crashed last week. i think the fan may have ceased any and all operations, and so began three mile island inside my gateway. but that's just a guess. and i'm probably correct. so geek squad is holding it hostage and hasn't begun to even diagnose it five days later. i ordered a laptop because i need one anyway.
do you ever have a moment where you feel like you have just entered the twilight zone? last night i walked into a parallel dimension of my life, i'm sure. it was funny and awkward. ky and i went to a friend's to wish her mom happy birthday. adrie, chevaun, and sean e were already there. seth showed up. chevaun was incredibly drunk. it was honestly the weirdest thing i've ever been a part of. adrie and i threw chevaun in the pool and then she took off her clothes. in front of everyone. sean wouldn't shut up about melissa (as usual) and tried to bring up old memories i'm not too fond of. "do those two girls and that mix well?" lmao. then we got yelled at. so we left.
so much for the beach and stuff today. oh well. <3
