Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) said Florida sheriff Chad Chronister, President Trump’s nominee for administrator of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), should be disqualified for his actions during COVID-19.
“I’m going to call ‘em like I see ‘em. Trump’s nominee for head of DEA should be disqualified for ordering the arrest a pastor who defied COVID™ lockdowns,” Massie said.
“Announcing the arrest of Dr. Ronald Howard-Browne, Pastor of The River at Tampa Bay Church, who intentionally and repeatedly disregarded state and local public health orders, which put his congregation and our community in danger,” Chronister said in March 2020.

I disagree with Massie and Gabe. Chad has already demonstrated that he has the experience and will to criminalize personal, private behaviour that affects no one else.
A perfect fit for the Drug Enforcement (mis)Administration.
If it were up to me, I wouldn't appoint anyone to the DEA because there would be no DEA.
Personal, private behaviour is a victimless "crime". You may not approve of what others do, but that's none of your goddamn business.
It is well past the time to declare victory in the WarOnDrugs™ and go home.
