Fundie Follies: Chik-Fil-A Going Woke
The latest outfit to go Woke is the Xian, Conserevative chicken shack: Chik-Fil-A who win accolades from conservatives for their principled stand against Woke that sent the moonbats into orbit.
On Tuesday, many fans took to social media to post a section of the company’s website that reveals fast food giant Chick-fil-A’s “commitment” toward “embedding Diversity, Equity & Inclusion on everything we do.”
Many were shocked that the purported Christian-led company was going all in for the woke, left-wing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion agenda, also known as “DEI.”\

They shouldn't be livid over this because it was perfectly predictable. Chik-Fil-A was founded, in one form or another, in 1946 by Samuel Truett Cathy. So who was he?
Cathy was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Georgia, and taught Sunday School there for more than 50 years. He said that the Bible is his guidebook for life.[5] Due to his strong religious beliefs, all of the company's locations, whether company-owned or franchised, are closed on Sundays to allow its employees to attend church and spend time with their families.[6] This policy began when Cathy was working six days a week, multiple shifts. He decided to close on Sundays
Truett Cathy was a Fundievangelical from small town Georgia. As for the corporation's penultimate CEO, Dan Cathy, we know what that meant, being the son of the preacher. Growing up, that meant being under constant scrutiny by neighbors ready to report any hint of boyhood misbehaviours. That meant, not just church every Sunday, but mid-week services as well. Truett's kids grew up without any freedom to do what they wanted to do. Unlike other kids.
Going Woke is Dan Cathy's, and his successor's means to rub Truett's nose in it.
Even over ten years ago, even when Chik-Fil-A was standing on "principle", Dan Cathy was planning on undoing everything Truett accomplished. It has long been speculated that Chik-Fil-A will drop its long held policy of closing on Sundays. Dan Cathy's daddy issues come as no surprise. I've seen it myself. This country bumpkin, raised in small town Kentucky, comes to college, out of the Fundievangelical bubble for the first time in his life. He didn't handle it at all well. There were three trips to the emergency room for ODs, he was responsible for at least two pregnancies, and, of course, he flunked out of all his courses, because he never attended class.
We've seen this with Alistair Crowley, who spent an entire lifetime rebelling against being brought up in the Fundievangelical bubble. The same applies for Marilyn Manson, the shock rocker. I hope Manson doesn't make the same mistake Crowley made, and comes to terms with his corrosive upbringing.
Proving, once again, that no one can drive more people farther from Christ than a Fundie.
