Expooooo~!
Sorry I haven't updated in ages! Hopefully you guys haven't completely forgotten about me - I've been soooo busy. Everything is new right now. I'm spending £30 a week on food and transport and more for going out. It's only been two months and Art college is the hardest thing I've ever done, but I've made some wicked friends there so it's all good fun!
SATURDAYYYY! The convention! Spent literally all year looking forward to this and it was better than I imagined x100! Soooo much fun! Got the train down on my own to London after getting up totally pumped at 5am, spent half an hour writhing in anticipation in King's Cross til I met slave_of_yami for a biiiig hug! It was awesome! Meeting IRL wasn't awkward or weird at all. Just different! Met her two friends Alice and Leanne who were very nice! We got to the Expo after a bit of a panic as part of the underground route I wrote down was closed, but we got there in the end. There were people holding signs for the Expo and everything. So exciting! So me and Suki power-walked it to the toilets, hijacked a baby changing area and put our costumes on. Suki looked soooo different and beautifullll in her dress, like snow white! I felt like a bit of a marshmallow cos my corset was too big, but I was happy with the thing overall and definitely worth buying all the things for it! THERE WERE SO MANY LITTLE KIDS AND PARENTS! o.O I didn't expect it. And half of 'em were in cosplay. Fucking awesome. So we got snapped a couple of times which was fuuuun and headed out to meet people after losing Alice and Leanne almost straight away gahhhh D: It was so warm outside and everyone was dancing and it was mental.
Felt someone poke the back of my skirt and turned around to see chunchan and the_guilty_one dressed as Wammy Justice Club Matt and Mello complete with hairdryer and everything! They are so pro at cosplay! I squealed and we had a big hug and a chat. It was great! I gave them their commission and they were dead pleased with it so I was happy! And Samu gave me one of her drawings too! : DDD Then me and Suki almost wet our pants in excitement, ikiningyo turned up behind us and she's sooooo tall and dressed in the Mello-y goodness! And her friends were so nice too! So then Alice and Leanne turned up again and Alice was dressed as such an adorable Nearoo! Tina gave her a hug and her expression was priceless! Good times. We went around the con together for a bit but got split up and Suki's phone broke, so I spent an hour or so checking everything out with Matt and Mello, we saw some great stuff and more picture taking! Bumped into everyone else a bit later, and met jengou! simultaneous 'you're so cuuute! :DDD' ensued and we all went to sit outside, Jen translated parts of Monster for us which was sooooo funny and Tina brought sushi and we all had a right old chat. Tina and Suki started the planned seme contest which was HILARIOUS, me and Jen following closely behind recording it. Man it was euphoric! All got a bit overexcited and Tina injured herself badly after a fall >___< we were proper worried but me and Imke ran to get some help while Suki, Jen and everyone else looked after her. Had an antagonising wait and had to say goodbye to Jen but Tina came out again and we all had a hug again, she got bandaged up but we were dead relieved she was ok! Emotional rollercoaster or what! We all went round the shops together again and had a right laugh! I bought a Death Note pillow [yeahhhhh!] and other stuff and Suki bought everything with Ryuk on it which was sooo much amusement, more picture taking and breaking into song, and I talked to a random Bridget who I thought was lady_unaspi but when I got closer I realised her face was completely different and this one was part of the 4chan group but it was a laugh anyway! I felt like I should have bought more stuff even though we all had santa sacks of stuff to carry home [sooo jealous of the keroro gunsou playset and giant Ryuk statue!] I SO should have bought that doujinshi with Watari and Papa Yagami on it JUST BECAUSE.
Said some more sorrowful goodbyes to Imke and Samu and then big hugs with Suki but DEAR LORD IT WAS AMAZING, best day of this year, felt so comfortable with everyone and we had such a laugh. I really hope we can do it again, I had a fantastic time you guys, THANK YOU~!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ [I want this to be in flashing text soo bad D:]
