I never ever check my comments on LJ so I didnt relaize you had commented. I changed my user name a tinnny bit. I don't think its weird at all that you commented in my journal, its all cool, im not half as scary as I may seem. I wish I had the balls to IM or comment to the people in the scene when I was just finding the music and shows and stuff, it could have made life alot easier. It fucking BLOWS that the battle of the bands got called off.

My only advice to you as a girl of the "scene" is to say, Love adora, love the bands you love, but give the other ones a chance. The show at Wild acres (i dunno if you were there or not) was heartbreaking when all the younger kids left before the ending, the endings is AMAZING, the musicianship is impressive and Mikes voice is nearly perfect. The thing is they have YEARS on the kids in Adora and other local bands because certian people have been in bands for 10 years and are just at a different level of playing and writing. It just gets to me sooo much because when I started hanging out there was a band called "The incline" and I had crushes on all the boys in the band and would leave shows with them and follow them around and always miss the best band, not realizing how good it was. I have learned to regret it sooo much, i'd give anything to go back 4 years and see southdown play. You don't have to like the ending at all, just give them a try and if you hate then you hate them. I'm not here to sell them, but only to tell you from experience that sometimes you miss out on the best things for boys and OK bands.

Live how you want to live. Do what you want to do. Stick up for Adora when shit heads like me put them down, because thats what you should do if you like them. Just dont miss out on the other things around.
