The trip to milan was terrifying, in a good way. I'll have some pictures eventually, i'm just not inpired right now to resize and post and blah blah blah. You know how it goes.
Lets see. I'll be in London from April 8th till the 12th, if you're in the area and want to get together you should comment or something. John John, i sent you and email!
I've been making granola bars because i think they're healthier then the store ones, which probably isn't true. It's fun though, and keeps me busy in the kitchen.
At this point i've given up on trying to make Italian friends, it's not that it's not worth it, it's just that the language barrier is so extreme, and it's hard to aproch people. It also doesn't help that every Venizian that looks at me thinks i'm some kind of Asian tourist that doesn't speak a word Italian or English. Not being a class makes it hard to find other people to hang out with too. If i was going to start all over again, i probably would have found a home stay, gone to school at an actual university (with internet access), and taken italian before i left. Oh well, live and learn.
I'm don't think i'm going to stay for summer. I've got a lot of lose ends left in the states and bigs plans as well.
Here's the big plan: Take the advanced art classes finally being offered next year and supliment with Japanese for more credit. Graduate. Apply for the JET program. If i get rejected from the jet program, find a school that needs an english teacher. Move to Japan for a year. Come back, probably move in with my parents for some time (ew). Move to SanFran or NY. Grad school for something. Spend the rest of my life paying off loans, perhapse marrying ritch and having him pay off my loans.
It also sounds like i have the offer of a part to full time job with screenlife for the summer, so i guess i'll have something to do.
Oh yeah. Audry Kawasaki and a couple other names i can't remember are having a show at the Roc La Rou (sp?) in July. I'm going to make a point of going to art opening again, Italy has given me a taste for (free) wine.
Yep, lots to do...
Edit: Sylvia Ji is also haveing an opening the day i get back at the BLVG Gallery. Cool.
