"...and in 650, the goblins blah blah blah. The blah blah blah treaty signed in 657 had the soul purpose of preventing blah blah blah..."

Dean shook his head, trying to focus on the lesson Professor Binns was giving.

"... And that is why in 688 blah blah blah..."

Brie giggled as she saw Dean shake his head to wake himself up. She felt the exact same way, really. So she reached over and poked him in the arm. "Boring, much?"

OOC: She's the same year, but Hufflepuff. You probably knew that already though, heh. And yay, I finally get to RP with you! :)

Dean took the remaining of his energy to turn around to face Brie. A long yawn escaped his mouth.

"Tell me about it...," he trailed off drowsily, rolling his eyes. "This is pure torture."

ooc: Ha. Nice to officially meet you! :)

Brie nodded sleepily, and Dean's yawn became contagious.

"I know. He probably bored himself to death with one of his lectures and came back to do the same to us."

Dean glanced at the teacher, who's monotone speech still echoed through the classroom.

"If that his plan, it's working," he said with another yawn. Dean looked around the classsroom. "More than half the class is asleep. It's as if he's giving a speech to himself."

"I bet he's one of those people who likes hearing themselves talk," she said, shrugging a little.

Dean stretch, trying to bring energy back into his body.

"I bet he's deaf actually.. otherwise he'd be asleep too," he said rolling his eyes.

Brie rubbed her eyes and blinked a few times.

"He'd never even notice if we left the classroom."

Dean raised an eyebrow at Brie. "Is that a suggestion" he asked, a small smirk playing on his lips.

"Hmmmm," she thought, tapping her chin with her finger.

She looked around the room. "Maaaaybe."

Dean eyebrow shot higher. "Would such a goody-goody such a yourself be willing to cut class?," he teased, grinning fully now.

Brie thought about it, never having cut a class before. If there were ever a class she'd most want to cut, it'd be History of Magic. And there they were, so she decided to go with it. "Why not?" she smirked.

Dean had been a rather good boy this year, having only cut classes only once or twice, so he thought one more missed class wouldn't kill him. Anyway, he was more than glad to get out of this stuffy classroom

"Let's go then," he said, putting his quill and ink in his schoolbag. He glanced at Brie, waiting for her to do the same.

Brie tried not to laugh out loud as she packed up her things quickly and quietly. She looked at Dean for what to do next, since it was obvious he was more experienced at the art of cutting class.

Dean glanced at Professor Binns, thankful the teacher was too busy reading his notes to actually look up at the class. Since they were sitting toward the back of the classroom, Dean decided it'd be safer if they went to the back of the room first, and then head toward the door. He got up quietly and looking nervously at the teacher. Fortunately, Professor Binns seemed too concentrated in his lesson to notice anything happening in the classroom.

Brie looked around at the students to make sure no one was watching. Most of them were asleep anyway, and those who weren't were too dazed to notice anything going on. She followed Dean to the back of the classroom and allowed him to open the door, not trusting herself to do it quietly.

He opened it slowly. The door creaked a bit when it was half open. Dean turned around to see if anyone looked up, his heart beating fast in his chest. He let out a long thankful sigh as no one had glanced their way. He exited quickly, deciding not to push his luck.
