Does any of you know what Valentine's day is? What are we truly celebrating?
Some experts state that it originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D. Legend also says that St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer's daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it "From Your Valentine".

Now another question. How many of you bought something for their sweetheart? Everyone? I thought so.
Conclusion: Businesses have manage to change Valentine's day into a pure lucrative holiday. And it coulnd't have been any easier since everyone ignores its soul purpose.
