Gothling number two!
Today was scan day! Our first peek at this baby. It was an experience to say the least. Hubby and Gothling #1 got to sit in with me, but baby was far from in a cooperative mood. Because we needed a specific shot of the back of the neck and baby had to be in a specific position for it, it led to some fun. Not to mention that baby did not want to sit still either. Very active and wriggly. Many twists of position, a short walk and a bathroom break and we finally got all we needed.
Confirmed that we are expecting a single baby, completely healthy and normal as far as this ultrasound can tell, 13 weeks and 4 days along, making me due 19th of October. Though as we all know from Gothling #1 that's just a stab in the calendar that is about the right ball park. Next scan will be at some point in the first week of June, but we won't know exactly when for another few weeks yet.
