Yup, here we are again. More nonsensical waffle, but that's me for you. You all know me, you know what to expect, don't pretend that its a surprise.
Anyway, so how's the weeks gone? I've had the all clear on being healthy in all the right ways, so the birth control is booked to be out on the 5th, I am picking up the vitamins to start popping for if I get pregnant on Tuesday. So yes, we will be trying for another baby very soon.
Sorted out nursery for the gothling for while the kitchen is being done, because its not going to be fun for him of course. So time out of the house will do him good. Going to start altering his routine this weekend if we can, have dinner later, bath and bed later, just to adjust to how he's growing up and things like that.
We've started growing veg again, albeit on a smaller scale in a smaller garden. I had two courgette starter kits rather than one because they are supposedly tough to grow. In less than a week I have 15 seedlings and counting. Hmm, I shall be giving away plants then! Potatoes are coming to be planted the first week in April, and hopefully the chilli seeds will take too. And I must get some sunflower seeds so little man can have his own flower.
The weather was wonderful today, actually got my washing on the line and let little man run in the garden and have fun in the sun, just how it should be.
I looked up my old beta reader and bless her she is still happy to help. I sent her what I have of my nanowrimo project to have a good trawl over, and am getting it read by a couple of people before I continue, just to check I am on the right track pace etc wise. So more writing to come now things are moving on that front a bit.
Spinning wise I finished the Hundred Eyes, and even plied and knitted with the yarn. But seeing as the finished piece is still wet and I can't take pictures yet, that's a whole other post. I also just finished the singles of the commercial merino/silk blend so that's ready to ply now, and I think I shall n-ply that too. It will be completely different to look at, but I am interested as to how it will turn out.
Made some progress with Dwarrowdelf, hoping to do more on that front next week, this week has been chores after chores after chores what with having just come back of holiday. But in any case, I have a picture of progress. Far further than the last one as I have passed the graft and started the side panel. Pleased with how its looking too.
so that's this week, expect more on the Hundred Eyes in a day or two. For now, that's all my news, so off to grab something to eat!
