Well, I figured it was about time for another update, so here it goes:
School is going better, I suppose. I still have tons of homework, but I'm starting to get back into the routine I believe so it's not as terrible as it was to begin with. However, it's still better when each day is over. And considering that football season just started, I'm sure it's going to improve even more when we start having pep rallies, games, etc so that's something to look forward to. But, I'm certain that this year is going to really push me to work harder....
Speaking of football, I went to Rye Cove's game last night since GC's was at Richlands. It's kind of unfortunate that not one of Scott County's high school football teams won their game this past Friday. I anticipated that GC would have some serious competition from Richlands and we evidently did. I thought that Rye Cove would do decent, though... but, Appalachia was good and they deserved to win. Rye Cove made some mistakes, or else they would have given Appalachia more competition in the game than what they did. I was disappointed by how the game turned out. I especially didn't like having to leave with one minute left in the game even if it was evident that Rye Cove wasn't going to have a major comeback and beat Appy. I wanted to stay so I could talk to Megan afterwards because I had been looking forward to seeing her and talking to her at that game for a while now, but I didn't get to. Her boyfriend did really good, though. I'm pretty sure that he scored at least two of Appalachia's touchdowns if not more. I believe that's enough about football, though...
Yesterday was a great day, one of the best I've had in all of my life. It was a milestone for me. I went on my first ever date! I know I got a later start on this whole dating thing than most everyone else, but I know it was worth the wait for this one. Dave and I have been together now for almost two months and yesterday was our first date and it was actually the first time we had seen each other since governor's school, too! We met at MECC and then, went to the movies in Wise and saw Red Eye. The movie was alright, I was happy just to be able to spend time with Dave. It was a wonderful first date. I honestly don't think it could have been much better. He's amazing and I love him with all of my heart. I can't wait to see him again...
Well, I think that's all that I wanted to say in this update...
Love ya'll!
