(no subject)
well, i am questioning how i should start this update off...
i suppose i'll get the not so good things out of the way--
first of all, my papaw passed away exactly one year ago today. i miss him so much, but i know that he is enjoying the splendor of heaven and that he is not alone there... he has my uncle dan, who passed away on january 6th of last year, and also his wife, who passed away last year in july. i know it sounds terrible to say, but sometimes it's like i forget they're even gone... i'll drive home and see the house beside mine where they used to live and i'll almost expect to see dan sitting on the porch and my mamaw on the couch inside while papaw sits next to her watching tv in the recliner. so many memories flood my mind, but i wouldn't trade them for anything... i hope i never forget all the good times we shared. =`(
my other mamaw isn't doing good now. her health has declined sooo much lately. i'm scared i'm going to lose her too. i know eventually it's something that happens... it's all just a part of life, but still yet knowing that doesn't change the fact that it hurts tremedously when they do pass. so, please include her in your prayers if you would. as always it is greatly appreciated and i'll do the same for any of you who have something you would like for me to help you in praying about. also, my cousin's grandmother had a stroke the other day and is still in the hospital. her heart rate has been getting really low at night. plus, this guy who lives about two miles from me had a tractor turn over on him today... he got his hip caught underneath it and it had dragged him for a short distance. there was also a plow or something on the back of the tractor that punctured his back in a few places. so, if you don't mind to, remember them in your prayers as well.
& now for the good--
yesterday, i went to look at some cars again with my mom and i ended up getting a new one!! it's not brand new, but you know what i mean. i like it a lot. i also got another digital camera since my old one tore up. it's nice!
oh, and i almost forgot, i got to spend two hours at the tennis match this past monday with something wonderful-- the guy i mentioned in my last update! and wow, i like him even more now. God truly got something right when he made this one, for real!!! ; )
we were supposed to meet up again at the tennis match on wednesday, but it didn't work out =(
he is amazing though. he can say like two words and make everything bad disappear! he makes me smile, too!! so, i guess i'm letting myself fall again... and i'm ready and willing to now! i just hope things continue to progress between us and that he allows himself to fall for me too. so, we shall see how this all works out...
prom is only one week away!! i am somewhat excited now. i would be more excited if i was taking the gorgeous guy mentioned above with me, but that's alright! i'm going with a big group of my friends so that should be fun!! i still have yet to decide how i'm going to be wearing my hair, but that shouldn't be a problem. i'll probably try to hit the tanning bed every evening this week including the day of prom. friday is junior/senior layout day and i think michelle, kayla, and i are going to leave around lunchtime and go get our nails done and eat or something fun like that! i kinda would like to go and play tennis that day, too. then saturday morning, i plan on getting up nice and early and going to the tanning bed and maybe meeting up with some of my friends to eat. i have a hair appointment at noon in weber city and after that, i'll have to stop by my cousins' house so i can have my make-up done there. then, i'll be going to dad's house to finish getting ready and take some pictures there. pictures start at 4 at meadowview and i will have to find out where everyone is going to meet at and what time we will be having our pictures done there. we have dinner reservations at 6. when we finish eating, we'll be heading to the prom!!! i hope it ends up being a magnificent night for everyone!!
