I've had a really awesome start to the week. Not so much yesterday morning though. I was supposed to go to NTU to hand in the giro bill payment form because yesterday was the last day. I even got Marky Mark to give me a wake up call (which I answered). Buuuut, then I went back to sleep and dreamed I went to school to do the above-mentioned handing-in-of-form. It was really vivid and I really thought I went to school, such that when I woke up at 10.30 a.m., I was very confused as to why I'm on my bed instead of on the bus to meet Ravioli at Dhoby Ghaut. Met Ravioli at Plaza Singapura, and walked over to The Cathay, almost in the rain - which is why my hair turned into a frizzy mess (there's photographic evidence!). After bouts of confusion and indecision over popcorn and seating arrangements, we finally settled down to watch The Dark Knight. Second time, yo! It's still awesome the second time round. Heath Ledger is legendary as the Joker. I could not, for the life of me, ever imagine that beneath that painted face was the startlingly handsome hearth-throb whom I fell in love with in The Patriot.
See, he's so incredibly freaky right! Totally reminded of the childhood nightmare that was Stephen King's It.
This second time around, I managed to take note of the little details that I missed before, because I can actually watch without closing my eyes, as I knew when an explosion was going to come. Which helped make a whole lot more sense during the parts at which I was confused before. I left the cinema a little sad, because after this, there's only going to be one movie starring Heath Ledger, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, then no more.
After the movie we headed down to Ben and Jerry's to share a huge tub of the Vermonster. It had every single flavour, and toppings and whipped cream. 18 of us sharing a tub of ice cream. Vaguely reminiscent of FOC. I now have a craving for Dublin Mudslide. Of course, two days of ice cream in a row isn't very good. I headed over to meet Glory, Vicky and Kathy for my very first dance class! (: I love it! The warm-ups part was excruciating though because I haven't done the stretching and the crunches and whatnot in ages. Felt a little wobbly afterwards. Then we had to do jazz walks and stuff, and of course, I got totally confused with my left and right. I felt a lot better when we were being taught the routine and I got the hang of watching, remembering and executing steps. It was tiring but very satisfying. I have the urge to go and run this evening. And it makes me want to continue with dance. Some of us Ravioli-ans were thinking of doing drama as an elective and joining dance. I'll see what the environment is like. I really don't want to deal with politics and divas and cliques. I really like the atmosphere in yesterday's dance class. Totally relaxed and FUN. A very refreshing change, I must say.
Sidetrack: My boyfriend is incredibly cute when he's just woken up! (: Endofsidetrack
And I need to go help him mark his books. The form, I think I'll just mail it in. I don't want to make multiple trips to school!
Oh and HANSON has dates planned for their The Walk tour. Yay I hope they make it to South-east Asia again! (:
