And so, it's over.
No more Cat and the Moon and A Full Moon in March.
No more rushing to rehearsals after Spanish on Tuesday evenings.
No more dragging my bum to school on Friday afternoons because only rehearsals await me.
No more trying to learn jarring and disjointed 'melodies', while trying to stay on pitch.
No more 'socks'.
No more swiney nor swineherd.
No more madness personified.
No more minnaloushe.
No more fetching of severed heads.
No more uncomfortable masks cutting into the eye and making it tear.
No more foulness of blood, and the consequential conception of child.
No more laughing over Peter's numerous hilarious portrayals of the swineherd.
No more green monsters.
No more black hairspray - and the mess that came with it.
No more 'Singing in the Rain'.
No more curing and blessing of beggars.
No more digging of graves.
No more ice cream, ice cream and more ice cream - such ice cream monsters that we are.
No more frustration that came into fruition.
But what I would give to have it all over again.
To the cast and crew of Cat and the Moon and A Full Moon in March, thank you for being the gems that you are, and making this whole experience the treasure that it is. This is the first time being a cast member post-JC, and I had my uncertainties - about myself as well as the production - but we all pulled through.
To Peter and Daniel, thank you for your endless support and encouragement, and allowing me to be a part of this experience. You've made it mine as much as it was yours. My confidence as a singer has grown - and is still growing - because of you.
