(no subject)
Hi guys! thanks for the support loads of you gave me about my operation and you were right, it went fine :)
I got to the hospital pretty early around 7am and was taken up to my ward. All the nurses were so nice and i felt really well looked after. I was the first person to have my op. out of everyone in the ward and it was so scary. The nurse gave me magic cream lol(!) so the needle wouldn't hurt but it didn't anyway. I was waiting for the anaestetic (sp) to sink in but i didn't even have a chance to start feeling drowzy, before i knew it i woke up in recovery with my throat aching really badly :( They put a tube down my throat during the operation so i could breathe easier but when they took it out, it scraped the back of my throat and now it hurts so much and i can't talk or cough. My paracetemol is absolutely disgusting so i am currently refusing to take it! Hopefully my throat will get better cause it still kills :( My ears are constantly making really weird noises and i have the worst earache ever, i just want to be well again. The nurse warned me that since i had my adenoydes out, some weird stuff might come out of my nose and i am so not looking forward to that! At least i have a week to recover cause i have to stay off school cause i can't go near anyone incase of infection. im going to miss a lot and with my exams coming up, i really don't want to.
