So I saw 311 on Wednedsay. They were brilliant. It was my first time seeing them. OHHH <333 I was front and center, of course, until moshpits on both sides threw me around and I had TAAAAAAAALL (TALL), sweaty guys on my head and I couldn't breathe. I eventually made my way to the middle of Hammerstein Ballroom, where everyone was high and just chillin'. It was fun. I'd say the crowd was 80.57943456% male. MMM, bring on the boys. The address of Hammerstein is 311 W. 34th St. ... that made me smile. The same band that opened for them (The Exit) is one of the bands opening for Ted Leo/Pharmacists, who I am seeing in December (the 3rd time this year!). Ah, yes.
