I fail to see how Obama is helping to stamp out voter fraud when he donated $800,000 to ACORN. If anyone is trying to "rig the election", methinks it's him
And anyways, he's already got way more money than he needs
Yeah, I don't have time to read the links and I already read the factcheck.org one. Aside from the voter registration fraud debacle, ACORN is just a really fucked up organization in general.
I'm not going to go into debate about why I don't support him, but generally speaking I think he's a complete liar and fake, and says absolutely nothing but trite, cliched rhetoric in his speeches. His positions on the topics that matter to me are incredibly weak, and has no major accomplishments to speak of. And thats not even getting into the more trivial things like Ayers/Rezko/Wright, and the fact that he's a member of an obviously racist church. The fact that the media continues to kiss his ass and treat him like a messiah despite all these things only enrages me further.
Even if I just ignore all this and focus on what he's saying he'll do, I have no reason to like him or vote for him. He doesn't seem to offer any solid solutions for anything except maybe ending the war in Iraq.

I'll be the first to say that ACORN is far from perfect...but your premise was that they were rigging the election. To which I refer to Hanlon's Razor: "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."
But the malfunction I have here is that you say "I don't have time to read the links". Chances are your responses took as long to write as it would have to read the links, and I know all too well that "not enough time" really means "not high enough priority". So I can only conclude that you're not interested in letting information or facts get in the way of your beliefs. This is fucking bullshit. If you vote based on malformed beliefs, misinformation and logical fallacies such as guilt by association, you not only do yourself a disservice, you do your country a disservice.
I don't like to jump in here like this, but your comments didn't show that you're informed, and that's what he was trying to point out. He didn't call you stupid--maybe implied "wilfully ignorant", but definitely not stupid.
Now "messiah"...come on. No one here is worshipping the guy or claiming he's perfect--only correcting via real information some of the weird shit that's out there.
I don't really care whether or not a faceless person on the internet thinks I'm uninformed (or unsaved, depending on how you look at it :P), I'm not going to put much effort into fighting on the internet. I've been following the election since the Iowa caucus and I know that I'm informed. I know I'm still not voting for Obama. And none of this fucking matters regardless because I don't live in a swing state.
Honestly, his followers are very cult like. The way the media turns a blind eye to all the stupid shit he and Biden say and do is creepy.
I dunno, I think that's a bit extreme, don't you think? I've seen PLENTY in the media about Obama.
If you know that you're informed, you'll take the time to read the links. And since you've pumped us for sources, could you kindly please provide your own? I won't claim "tl;dr" because I do believe in staying informed and I take the time to do so.
Alright fine. I skimmed over the articles. All they do is bitch about how McCain is exaggerating the issue. Wow, a bunch of shit I already knew. My opinion on Obama is completely unchanged. Furthermore, you can't just believe every article you find on the internet. The reason I had already read the factcheck.org article is because I know that's one of the few reliable sources. Provide my own sources on what? Where exactly did I pump you for sources? Nowhere. If you want to stay informed you can kindly do your own research

Translation: I am talking out of my ass. I have no genuine reasons to dislike Obama other than I want to look all cool and anti-establishment. I will talk about people sucking Obama's dick, but I won't provide sources for my information because I have none. Nor will I bother to read ones given to me because, like, reading is WORK.
I want to look "cool and anti-establishment" just because I don't like your candidate? If I wanted to look "COOL", I would say I'm an Obama supporter. You didn't specify what you want sources for despite me asking you, I assume you are not so closeted that you don't know Obama belongs to a racist church and pals around with domestic terrorists, but maybe I'm wrong. I already mentioned that I read the articles "provided to me" and they didn't give me any new information. I don't have online sources for a lot of my points because I don't get my news from online, I get it from watching the news (MSNBC, CNN, AND Fox News, not just one outlet), listening to talk radio, and from searching factcheck.org (which, unfortunately, does not have articles covering everything). I'll say this: if Hillary were the nominee, I'd be working hard for her. I am a registered democrat. I'm hardly anti-establishment.
And I'm NOT saying Obama or Acorn are were going to rig the election, I don't even believe the 2000 election was rigged. People just don't want to fucking admit when their candidate lost.
But Andrea said she was afraid that the republicans were going to "try it again" based on "information from various channels". What? If we're going to even start saying someone is rigging the election (which I don't even believe anyone is), I'd like to think it'd be the person who has enough money to do so, and threw thousands of dollars at an organization under investigation for voter registration fraud
And anyways, he's already got way more money than he needs

And honestly the ACORN thing is just one small reason I will not vote for him. The lesser evil is still evil.

Then you seemed to ignore the first three links I sent you. The final link was less about ACORN and more about hypocrisy than anything.
And honestly the ACORN thing is just one small reason I will not vote for him. The lesser evil is still evil.
Then what are your bigger reasons?

I understand you're passionate about these issues, but your passion is getting in the way of having a reasoned, adult conversation.

However, here's an article about the money blown on the Barackopolis I mentioned in my last comment, which you should already know is not ( ... )
