Beatles post because I love The Beatles

"Is there anybody going to listen to my story..."*

So I'm going on a complete Beatles obsession track right now. Those guys are/were geniuses.

I probably listened to "The Long and Winding Road" about 50 times in the few days before and after my graduation ceremony. I don't care if it's not what the song is really referring to. It's just the way it's sung and some of the lyrics make me think of the long and winding road that is my life and how my high school experience is just part of that road and I'll look back at it with mostly fond memories.

" The wild and windy night that the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears crying for the day
Why leave me standing here, let me know the way
(Many times I've been alone and many times I've cried
Anyway you'll never know the many ways I've tried
And still they lead me back to the long and winding road
You left me standing here a long, long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here, lead me to your door"**

My favorite Album is Abbey Road, followed closely by Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. I think, between those two, there are songs for every mood I'm in.

" I read the news today oh boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well I just had to laugh
I saw the photograph
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn't notice that the lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They'd seen his face before
Nobody was really sure
If he was from the House of Lords"***

**The Long and Winding Road
***A Day in the Life

(I was going to add Youtube things of the songs because that's better if you can hear it, but I can't figure it out again and I don't have the time because my dad is telling me to double check that I have everything ready to leave)
