Another day in paradise

Another day in paradise
It's freezing, chilling rain
But we're locked behind closed doors
Where life is perfect and plain
Nobody to interupt
Nobody to mock or stare
Nobody to kill the mood
No one else's voices in the air
Another day in paradise
The sun is faded and bleek
My tan escaped
Behind fluffy white clouds
But you're rosying up my cheeks
With the whispers of your melodies
The hot promises in your air
The sexy caresses upon my neck
That leave me without a care
Another day in paradise
It seems the sun is almost here
The wind is fresh
The sky a mess
The altered faded cheer
You say I'm beautiful, I'm uplifted
You say I'm your light, I'm high
You say I'm your everything, I'm leaping,
You say I'm your life, and I fly
Another day in paradise
The sun is escaping from the earth
The orange watercolors blend with the night
And the sun enters the sky, as if by birth
You whisper good morning, I smile
You kiss me and hug me, I'm weak,
You tempt and tickle me, I giggle
You hold me and sooth me, I'm awake
Another day in paradise
With you the only person I trust
The one that I uncover for
The one that I dance for
The one and only I lust
You can take my hate
Take my pride
Open the door
And I'll refuse to hide
I'll kiss you once
And you'll repeat
You'll sit back down
And I'll take your seat
And I'll sift through your hair
Just the way you like me to
And you'll kiss me on the forehead
And tell me you love my eyes so blue
And at this point I fall in love again
Forget about my haunting past
And about the chilling pain
And you'll hold my hand
And interloch our hearts
Promise me forever
And promise never to part
The stereo sounds a heartbeat
Pulsating in the back of my mind

Easing down my spine
