Jeff and Sophie are so cute,(it's funny how I actually know a Sophie who's 4 and this glib too)and then put in Annie in the mix, it's a cutesplosion! I love how light and funny this is.

Yeah, have to admit that my version of Sophie is based off my friend's little girl who is so quick and sharp about things. She's a cracker alright!

And thank you, I have a tendency to write angsty stuff so this is a minor departure from that I think, though somehow my drama still seems to find a way out!

Well, it's not called 'little league,' but we definitely start soccer young here in Canadaland, so I'll give you pass on the lingo :P

I love this fic. I can't even describe how much I love it. Jeff as a daddy just makes me die, the same way Joel as a daddy makes me die. I love you so much for writing this. I want to have your babies.

Haha, thanks. I wasn't sure but over here in the UK it's just 'Junior Football' and that definitely didn't work for a fic set in America!

And I know! Jeff as daddy is freaking brilliant to write. I thought it'd be hard but I've seen Joel talk so much about his kids that it's easy to imagine Jeff's character in that situation because I can imagine how Joel would play him. *Sigh*

And you can have my babies if you like. Our I could have yours - let me know what works for you :)

THANK YOU! This comment made me so happy because you nailed exactly the type of feel I wanted for this fic. Serious and real, but with a kind of sense of hope in it too (I'd say humorous as well, but I'm not sure I'm nailing the humour of Jeff and Annie here)

But you're right, it's great to think of them together but it just would never be that easy in the situation I put the characters. It won't all be sunshine and rainbows, which is what I plan to show here. Trust me, I got this one actually planned out to show the progression and I just hope you all like it :)
