This is my rant about everyone else’s rant.
I’d first like to start off by saying, STOP BEING SO SELFISH!!
Everyday I read other peoples journals, and all I see is “oh woe is me, oh woe is me” all over the place. It’s utterly sickening how pathetic people are, and what small things in life make them so upset that the whole world has to know, and feel sorry for them.
Everyone has problems, this I know. And trust me, I have a whole lot of baggage, but as my favorite teacher, Ms. M Sleek once said “Leave your baggage at the door”. Not only does no one really care, your preventing yourself from being happy because your tunnel vision is on, and is directing the light straight towards your life-threatening problem, which really isn’t big at all.
If you are dieing, or someone close to you is dieing, then you have every right to be upset. If your family has no money, and your being evicted during the holiday season, then I highly doubt you’d be reading this, but you have every right to be upset. If your mother or father, or another person close to you has a problem with drugs or alcohol, you have every right to be upset, and you can talk to me because I know what its like. But those my friends, are major problems.
If you don’t have a boyfriend, and you want one, that is not a major problem! If you have a boyfriend, but you choose to spend all your time with them, and now your upset because you don’t have friends, and you have to sit home by yourself every once in awhile, THAT IS NOT A MAJOR PROBLEM!
I’d like you all to read these 3 words, memorize, and learn there true meaning.
GET OVER YOURSELF !!!
Maybe I sound like a bitch, but maybe I just have the guts to say what everyone else is thinking.
If you get upset by this, I assure you, you will never succeed in life. Why you ask? Because you cant handle the truth! Or maybe just a little bit of constructive criticism. In which case, I, being a poor high school senior that has to pay for college virtually by herself (i.e. major problem., seeing as you cant get anywhere in life now if you don’t go) will buy you a new life.
Everyone is guilty of whining, even I. But when it’s the same petty (i.e. keyword) thing over and over again, you only have two options. Change it yourself, or live with it. Don’t whine, because there isn’t anything anyone else can do.
