I'm currently in the process of trying to wake Julie up. It's a daily ritual. Anyway, my life consists of nothing these last couple of weeks. I hang out here watching television or something, then go for a two mile walk when it starts getting dark.
Aww. Laguna Beach had a landslide. Poor little rich people.
Ooo..I feel my first rant coming on. Anyway, I'm watching this news show that comes on everyday on the WB called Daily Buzz. Apparently, this man that's known as The King Of Pedophiles just got put into prison for being part of a child sex cult and making websites where pedophiles and parents willing to expose their children to sex can meet. He was caught when he hopped a plane so that he could have sex with a woman and her three year old son. Okay, if no one sees anything wrong with this man already, then you're just as crazy as he is.
Anyway, then they got off on the topic of NAMBLA (see for more information: Southpark). They were talking about how they support sex with children and say it's their civil rights, and then I hear something that I've never really heard before: some people in the government are suggesting that maybe it is their civil right to have sex with children. Okay, now that's fucked up. Children are just that. C-H-I-L-D-R-E-N. How are people's civil rights being violated by children's innocence being protected? Using "The King of Pedophiles" as an example: why would you want to have sex with a three year old?? Not to mention that it's disgusting, do you know how scarred that child is going to be when he/she grows up? Would he want to grow up knowing that he had been used as a sexual object when he was a toddler, and that his own mother allowed it?
I think those are the only people sicker than pedophiles: the parents who willingly give their children to these people. You really want to be the reason for your children baring emotional (and possibly physical) scars for the rest of their lives? It's not as if you don't already give us a fucking load of baggage, but now you want us to live our lives with the knowledge that you didn't even love us enough to protect us from people who wanted to harm us, that you knowingly handed us over?
Oh well..it's like the woman on Daily Buzz said. Some people just aren't right.
