Okay, so.

It's a little sad when I have to resort to explaining my tweets on livejournal because they're too confusing. However, with this one, I think it's necessary.

Remember back in July when I went to that super huge nerd fest, Infinitus? Yeah, the Potter Con that I wish happened every day of my life? Well, if you remember that, you might also remember the "Dancing Snape" who I had actually seen walking around most of the weekend with a walkie talkie attached to his hip and always looking busy [hence, I didn't talk to him until the very brief .3 seconds at the Ball]...

Well, he was kind of amazing. And because I am clearly the creepiest creep on the fucking planet I managed to Facebook stalk him, despite not knowing his name AT ALL until I found him.

And, it's no secret that I have a fictional character crush on Snape from the series. Which, of course, let to fictional real person crush on Dancing Snape because he's freaking amazing. [Note: not real crush; I don't know this man at all and that would just be awkward. Especially since he is married... To a rather convincing Bellatrix Lestrange, oddly enough, lol]

Naturally, he happens to have a freaking cool first name, too: Lane.

So, now, I repeat my tweet with all of that info: Is it creepy to turn your fictional crush on a real person who plays a fictional character at cons into a character in your novel? #creeper Which I think makes more sense now?

Basically, how awkward would it be to turn the / my fictionalized version of this guy into a character in my series, pilfering little more than his appearance, name, and what I've managed to learn about his personality via being a creeper on facebook?
