Yesterday in English we were taking a Grammar quiz on subordinate clauses/writing errors...both of which I knew fairly well. The first question came easily to me so I wrote down 'none'. [It asked if there was a subordinate clause in that sentence]. Just as I'm about to hand in my paper I spot Reid's answers [Reid is oh-so-very-smart]. Instead of having 'none' he had written down 'adverb' and underlined a sentence before the comma. Hurriedly I did the same thing thinking mine was WRONG
Mhm...Guess what?
It wasn't...I had been right...
