this weekend was great. friday night jordann and i went to a fair trade party (which i always feel a little weird about because some of the stuff is definitely like AHH CULTURAL APPROPRIATION, but i think it's more important that the money is going towards something that's going to help people. and also i felt weird because the woman who owns the business always has to explain what fair trade means).
saturday i had a picnic and went hiking with kendra and linda. it was so gorgeous out. we laughed and smiled and listened to revolver and had a nice time.
today i hung out with family, including my great aunt and uncle who are visiting from new york.
and i have tomorrow off, too. i think i will bike and read and do laundry and listen to music and dance and play with walcott.
i just spent $30 on music and now i have less than three dollars left until i get paid on friday. i guess the stuff i bought at the fair trade party wasn't necessary, but, you know, it goes to help women in thailand who have been saved from trafficking and elephants who would be killed if their poo was not being used to make paper. i really just need another job, because it's not realistic that i will spend no money at all on fun things. the awesome news is that tia told me to bring in a resume.
