Alec stood on the roof of Seawhorse cabin - wearing a shirt again, because he wasn't going to invite undue notice from whoever might be watching. And outside, in the middle of the night? That could be anyone.
On Tuesday, he'd had his
date with Jaye, which had gone well enough apparently to warrant a second. He still had to find out from Buffy when the cheerleading meeting would be, so he could plan around that.
Wednesday, he'd wandered over to
Meerkat, shirtless of course, and
heard about a big, fat vampire named Angel from Rory, met and got an offer from Anakin to
convert his motorcycle (which he was really looking forward to seeing done), met Walter who'd
taken his picture to add to some personal spank-bank, gotten
an appreciative look from Buffy,
discussed the Seahorse Mission of Shirtlessness with Jack, and then talked to Dean about
the dating thing.
Alec frowned a little, remembering that more clearly for a moment, then put the thought aside. Today had been good, so he could focus on that, right?
Today - well, first classes, for one thing.
Wilderness Survival had been more or less what he'd expected, though the
shoe thing was kind of weird. He put that up to Callisto being a capricious bitch though, and didn't worry too much otherwise. After that he'd
introduced himself,
met Janet and talked about cheerleading, and then
identified miniature giraffe tracks with Hamlet.
In Sex Ed, the Crazy Hooker hadn't yet proved the name true. There'd been a
questionnaire and then
proper condom usage as relates to balloon animals.
After, he'd gone back to the cabin and
had coffee, courtesy Jaye. She'd also told him she wasn't looking for a boyfriend, which, honestly, was fine by Alec, and then they'd made two tentative dates - though both were for very different sorts of things.
Dean and Sammy had
wandered by after that, and Sammy being cursed with un-removeable pants really was funny. Something about Dean's
rebuke was niggling at him though, making him feel vaguely off. And though he didn't have a problem hiding his feelings, even from himself, he kept wanting to go back and poke at that one, morbidly curious.
Alec shook his head and shoved his thumbs in the front pockets of his jeans. He might as well go in and get some sleep; it was late enough he'd wake up about the same time everyone else did.
