Alec returned from his
trip into town, laden with bags that were still awkward just for being large and in the way. He dumped them on the bed, whereupon Min jumped up and sat on his pillow, watching as he began pulling things out to put them away.
He'd at least managed to completely avoid Parker while there, chatted with

He lifted his head. "My thing is, there's this girl. At home. I ... kind of don't know where things are with her."

Alec looked at Tyler a moment, curiously. Neither of them had been particularly communicative yet, but Alec supposed you had to start somewhere. "Yeah?"

He frowned. "Yeah. She visited me and stuff, where I was before. I didn't tell her I was coming here. She's probably pissed."

Alec snorted as he flopped back on his bed, turning his head so he could still see Tyler. "You going to tell her, or just let it wither and die?"

"But I dunno if I want to try and keep things going. She's kind of nuts, and you know how I told you I lose time sometimes? That screwed up stuff with us. Long story."
