Alec went back to his room after the
big adventure up on the sixth floor. As he continued to drip, lazily towelling off his hair with the towel he'd grabbed from outside room 613, he thought he was definitely a bit more convinced of the weirdness of Fandom.
He'd met and been propositioned by
John Crichton, the guy who did radio like he was on a fine type of crack, and his other neighbor
Peter Parker had asked him to keep things down at night (and he'd made no promises, but keeping the peace with his hallmates was probably worth something). Rory apparently had a
little vampire dog who didn't like him or Max much (he wasn't yet about to tell Rory that the cat genes might have something to do with that), and
Jaye had asked him to do
that radio thing which had turned out pretty interesting and at least somewhat informative.
He'd also met a girl named
Elizabeth and talked to
English Peter a bit (he wasn't sure how much Peter had taken from that conversation but it'd been fun on his end at least). He and Bridge had
patched things up a bit, which was sort of strange but from all he could see the guy wasn't really all that bad despite being a psych.
Sammy had been fun to tease, though he didn't want to press that too hard - Dean probably wouldn't appreciate him poaching on his big brother territory.
Max had been there as well. They'd exchanged glances, but that had been it, and he was really okay with that. Alec wasn't quite sure how he felt, knowing she was not only another transgenic but one of the escapees. She probably didn't even realize... He shook his head tightly. Not anything he needed to think about now either.
Tonight had been fun though. Buffy had
confirmed his cheerleader-hood and even if Dean had
made fun of him a bit, he couldn't deny the opportunities inherent in the situation. That
Dawn girl had seemed nice, but she'd spent the whole trip hanging with Dean - and even Alec could recognize the cute little vibes coming off the two of them. He sighed a bit, drying himself a bit further as Min came out from somewhere and mewed at him in greeting.
"Hey, Min." She mewed at him again and he reached down to pet her with a smirk. "Nice to know you have a name, I guess. Kind of fits you." She twitched her tail and went to jump up on his bed, watching him intently as he exchanged soaked jeans for sweats.
To continue the half-assed narration, Bridge had
dragged him along on the adventuring trip that had turned out a lot better than he'd figured.
He'd
almost crashed into Bridge when coming off a chute,
used English Peter's shield like a makeshift luge, and seen
D'anna shirtless. All in all, a pretty good night. (Even if he'd almost
gone into the boykissy room by accident.)
Finally dry and actually a bit tired, Alec fell into bed - narrowly missing Min, who immediately went and curled up on his chest. He eyed her narrowly and grunted, not even bothering with the effort to make her find a new resting spot. "Whatever. Smother me in my sleep and I'll come back and haunt you. M'sure Angela wouldn't like that very much."
She meowed contentedly and curled up, plainly intent on falling asleep right where she was. Rolling his eyes, Alec reached over to turn off the light and get some sleep of his own. "Fine. Night, Min."
"Mrow."
