Alec had been quite a bit cheered by the scene in the lobby earlier and decided he didn't have to hide in the basement at all, given current public opinion. He wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to be getting a second chance at, really, but the thought was still pretty awesome

Closing the borrowed laptop after replying to yet another mass email, he sat back with a grin. Life could be better, but, still, little things.
