After the somewhat
sobering events of last night, Alec was sort of glad to be back where his things were a little less accessible to the public.
He made a pile of still semi-damp clothing and put the rest away, popping a pill absently as he tidied up. Old habits were hard to break sometimes, and he figured the cleanliness wasn't really so bad. Especially with as little as he owned.
The weekend hadn't been the barrel of laughs he might have hoped for, but it was still better than being where he had been. He'd gone with Buffy to
buy her a new cell phone Friday afternoon and found out she thought he was cute, which was almost worth the whole trip right there, except he was sure it was the "aww, you're adorable" kind of cute -- which only got worse with the whole cat thing, dammit. The
luau on Friday night had been sort of a surprise, as well as the Hawaiian shirt he'd somehow managed to collect without noticing. He and
Dean had discussed the casualness of his relationship with Jaye,
Jack had offered some pointers on playing with toys as well as seemed oddly impressed by his not being human,
D'anna had been drinking something and looking quite lovely, and
Sammy had been less than impressed with the idea of Alec wearing a grass skirt.
Saturday, he'd at least
shown up for cheerleading practice, though not much had happened. That evening, he'd met
Alanna and Faithful, chatted with
Isabel,
Tyler,
Jamie,
English Peter, and
Dawn, and then plotted
evil with Jaye.
There were
plans for the evening, unless D'anna had changed her mind, so he decided on optimism and made sure he knew where the tickler was at to grab easily later.
Until then, he was free to wander the dorms for fun and excitement.
ETA: Alec dropped by the room later that evening, after the second floor CR - where he'd
talked to
Rory regarding languages and cabins, and chatted with
Parker about hammocks and the inherent awkwardness of attempting intimacy while sleeping in them.
With a satisfied hum, he grabbed the tickler and whisked out of the room, on his way to 237.
