So per last post, I eventually found the tickets! They were in a place only an idiot would find them; between clothes I had folded! I had just cleaned my room the prior night and it was, again, messy after I had searched high & low for those fricking tickets.
It was worth it though.. we were in the 2nd row in the PIT, which was seriously 7 feet (at the most) from the stage, AND we were seated in the very center no less! As far as concerts and shows we've gone to, these were the BEST seats I have ever gotten.. EVER!!!
The show was really good. I didn't know what to expect considering his show's format so it was kinda weird at first.. but when he started talking about his son and family, I was seriously laughing so hard I was on the verge of tears!
After the show, he said he would sign autographs & such. Despite the Flint Center having held a sold out show, we thought we'd try our luck at getting an autograph. The staff at the Flint Center sucked and they didn't organize anything so everyone was just crowding around. We were at the same spot for about 45 minutes! The show had ended around 10:00PM so around 11:20PM I was almost ready to give up..
I know, hella big picture, but I'm still so excited that I couldn't resize it! ;) I will be forever kicking my ass for not bringing my camera. That's the last time I ever listen to "No Cameras or No Recorders" on a ticket again! ..but luckily, Adam and his nifty iPhone were present :)
He kept reassuring everyone that he would sign every last autograph and that's what kept us going especially since we were practically amongst the last people to meet him (with only one person behind us!)
Around 12:15AM, we got to meet him! ..and I was a nervous mess! haha Still, I made it a point to tell him that I had been literally watching since the beginning (even before it was The Soup; when it was the "What the...? Awards") in which he replied, "Aww, God bless you." Then I noted that one of my earliest memories of him was when he did an impression of Nicolas Cage (possibly the first episode?). He laughed and even gave me a little taste of the impression! hehehe! Then he talked about how much of a horrible actor Nicolas Cage is and how his manager got mad at him for saying things about Cage... and it went on & on :)
..until we had to say our goodbyes. :(
Overall, he was such a nice & sweet guy!! Although we were getting so ansty (or I was) in line, he made sure to give everyone the same amount of time to meet him. Now I have this picture and a "Spaghetti Cat" t-shirt with "Good Morning" and his autograph written all over it to remember this moment! :)
..and I think it's notable to say that I have the best boyfriend in the world who stands in line with me through every commotion and doesn't complain to leave until I say it's okay to.. <3
