i think, and please don't be insulted by this, that all of these posts that are showing up about how drama sucks and fantasy works sucks now and all of this stuff... it's just making more drama and adding to negative feelings. and it just seems like everyone wants to show how mature they are. like, "oh, _____ made a post and it made them seem to be better than me so i'll make one too." but honestly, and i know i am guilty of this, livejournal/myspace/gj/whatever, is just becoming a place for everyone to whine about drama that they are part of anyway. please don't take this in a negative way, because it is aimed at almost every single person in fw. we all just need to stop thinking we're above all the stupid gossip and fights, because i have seen every single person who writes these posts doing the exact same thing. including myself. and it needs to stop. but writing a blog entry isn't going to stop it. we all need to stop talking and DO something.

Why all that LJMSGJ was invented for was for what Becca is saying NOT to do. No one is forced to read your entry. LJ is like an online journal for people to read. Its what you wish, whatever you want. Therefore thats where I don't agree with Becca. But I do agree with her in respects that she agrees with you in; where people need to stop it all.

Hey, it's the other Meg. as someone who is new to fantasy works this year, i don't know how it "used to be" or whatever, but i know that i certainly enjoy it more than any other thing i've ever done before. I think it is a shame that people can't enjoy it. I'm happy i just met these people and thus am still in the 'friendly all the time' phase and havent broken into the argumentative phase yet, but because of this, i feel like i can be sort of an outside observer. What i observe is an amazing place where people who at school might be outcasts can all come together and be accepted. ok that's corny and probably not what actually goes on based on the contents of this lj entry. But i think that such a wonderful place shouldn't be taken for granted, which is what anybody who is letting petty fights dominate it, is doing. We are ALL performers, and yes auditions are all about competition, but being a performer is a tough thing and we should SUPPORT one another because we're all in the same boat. i know ive never done a play thing and i dont really know what goes on but i do know that when i was younger friends were friends they didnt fight over boys and clothes and who was cooler and who had bigger boobs then who it was just friends you know and now its like what a bitch if she is going out with a guy you like, sorry if this has nothing to do with anything meg. well im sorry things arnt going as well as you planned but i hope it gets better ok?

Okay, heres my opinion:

I know I'm not into the whole FW thing, but trust me, I have heard PLENTY about it.
As much as I love all of you guys ( This MUCH! ) I have heard every single person I know in theater complain about the drama. And it's getting sickening because they complain&complain&complain and then they go gossip online. Now to be honest, I think I am most fond of this entry above all the other anti-drama entries, because this is the only one I've seen that I don't think will start MORE drama.

So basically I hope that this very well written entry puts an end to all of it. Because if I'm getting annoyed with it, I can only imagine how bad it is for people who are actually PART of fantasy Works. Thanks Meg =)

OK. I totally agree that FW is an escape. Because I know that whenever I'm having a crappy day, I can come to rehearsal, and everytihng's suddenly better. Because even if there's someone there that you're having drama problems with, there's always someone who you're not. And I don't agree with what Becca said because I think that if people don't tell about what things they're having problems with, it'll just make it worse. Like it was good for you to be honest. I jsut don't agree.

It's not my choice wether or not people stop the drama, but please do.
