Heyas, i just finished the first chapter of my new fanfic, dw guys ill be starting on chapter 6 for Forbidden Love right away since i have finished my tests and assignments nows kekes, im so relieved and so happy now that i have free time. As you can see, my chapter is EXTREMLY SHORT lmfao cus i dont want to be too descriptive for this fanfic since its just a romantic comedy sort of thing. But anyways i had a lot of fun writing this lmfao, maybe because i just love romantic comedy sort of stories? lol bleh. anyways guys tell me what you think and please comment lah <33
Chapter 1 : Seoul, Here I Come!
Have you ever wondered what the stars looked like in a clear dark night? Beautiful of course, those twinkling grains of sand fixated in the night sky, there was something about it that always amazed Yoona, it was like a source of inspiration to her. Sometimes she just wondered, why couldn’t humans be nocturnal? Night time was way more beautiful than the day. So watching the stars from the ground was beautiful, right? What was the feeling of watching it from your very own window seat in the Shinhwa Private Luxury Plane? Simply EPIC!
(Yoona’s POV)
“Wahhhhh… it’s so beautiful oppa!”, I cried out in glee but the person sitting next to me was too busy listening to his music to notice.
I smiled not wanting to disturb my best friend and leaned back onto the window again and my breath was literally taken away, again. It was amazing, the sight was simply amazing, right now I felt so close to the stars, it felt like they were right next to me. I guess that was the magic of flying on a luxury plane with big ass windows. I think I would have just drowned myself in the beautiful view until somebody prodded me gently on the shoulder.
“Yoona… why are you squealing? I’m trying to sleep…”
Yep, that was my best friend talking. Strange enough, it’s a guy but whatever I love him… as a best friend of course. His name is Lee Donghae, I forgot the first time we met each other, sorry I have fish memory but anyway I’m pretty sure we became best friends after that. Anyway, he’s awesome, I think if he didn’t come with me to America, I think I might’ve killed myself because heck I don’t know how to speak English. Oh yeah, isn’t America awesome? Luckily I didn’t make myself too fat from eating all those hamburgers and takeaways, actually come to think of it… I don’t even get fat at all, I guess it’s my gene. Oh whoops there I go drifting off, what did oppa ask me again?
“Oppa, you know I don’t travel a lot, I’m not like you”, I replied with a hint of jealousy. Yes, this trip back to Korea is probably my second time that I’ve been on a plane including the ride to America 2 years ago. Pretty embarrassing right? I guess I just don’t like travelling much…
“Yeah, well stop squealing like a little girl”, Donghae sighed as he closed his eyes to sleep again.
“Sorry oppa”, I mumbled apologetically.
“Yoona... I was just joking”, Donghae laughed as he ruffled my hair.
“Oh you were… phew I thought you were getting pissed at me”, I said breathing out in relief and then smiling once again as I looked out the window.
“You seem so happy about coming back… don’t you miss America?”, Donghae asked putting his hand on my shoulder to get my attention. Was there a secret double meaning behind his words? It certainly seemed like it… But the memories of my life back in Korea flooded through my thoughts.
“Of course I’m happy oppa, won’t you be happy when you see all your old friends tomorrow?”, I asked smiling widely at the thought of it. I missed my old friends so much, I wondered how they were going for the past 2 years. I had messaged them the night before when I was still at America but strangely none of them replied to any of my messages. I think I must’ve waited there, sat there for the entire night waiting, just waiting for the sudden vibration of my phone. But nothing, just nothing.
I was secretly hoping for some sort of big surprise when I would be arriving at the airport terminal tomorrow. Maybe a big warm hug from everybody? Or maybe they were making some sort of surprise party that I didn’t know about?
“…don’t you miss Eunhyuk and Leetuek oppa? Donghae oppa? Are you there?”, I asked gently waving my hands in front of him. For a minute, he looked as if he was completely zoned out, as if he was deep in thought. Oh… maybe he was thinking about his girlfriend, I thought, hang on, does oppa even have a girlfriend?
“Sorry Yoong… I was thinking about something just then. Umm… yeah I suppose I miss those two monkeys”, Donghae replied softly with a smile before turning away to sleep again.
(Donghae’s POV)
Yoona… I wish I could tell you that I miss you more, I wish I could tell you that I miss you more even when you’re right next to me, I thought as my head turned away from the angelic face that I longed to touch. I pressed the play button on my armrest and let the music fill my ears again…
THE NEXT DAY…
(Yoona’s POV)
“We will be landing in Seoul in 2 hours, please enjoy your breakfast and thank you for travelling with Shinhwa Airlines”, a woman said through the announcement. The woman’s voice was calm but dull as though she was bored of something, who knows, maybe working in a plane crew was a boring job.
“Hello sorry to disturb you, would you care for any drinks or snacks?”
I looked up to see a woman smiling warmly at me as she wheeled a trolley filled with snacks and drinks so I could see it. I smiled back in response and looked down at the trolley and nearly gasped. They were so cute looking, the snacks I mean, seriously they were. The cutest cupcakes I’ve ever seen in my life, it just made me wonder if people would want to eat it or just stare at it for the entire day. I certainly wanted to but I couldn’t because the woman was waiting for my response.
“Umm it’s alright, could I please have a glass of water and umm…”, I lingered not sure whether to continue or not. Should I or should I not? I thought, but oh my god those cupcakes looked so enticing. No Yoona don’t let it take you over like that, REMEMBER! CRAVINGS!, I thought to myself.
“Would you like to try one of our chocolate crème cupcakes? It’s a specialty”, the woman suggested smiling as if she knew what was going on inside my head.
Oh heck, go to hell cravings.
“Sure why not, thank you so much”, I replied half bowing as I received the tray from her.
“And your boyfriend? Would he like anything after he wakes up?”, She asked quietly as she eyed Donghae who was still sleeping.
What? You got to be kidding me… why was it that everybody seemed to think me and Donghae oppa are a couple. Have they ever stopped to think that we are just best friends? Seriously… people are so clueless about love these days.
“Umm a glass of water would be umm fine for him”, I replied awkwardly not bothering to try and explain that the person next to me wasn’t my boyfriend.
“You two look really cute together!”, She winked at me as she settled a glass of water on Donghae’s tray. I smiled amusingly as she pushed her trolley down the aisle.
We look cute together? I thought amusingly, well that’s a first, I must tell Donghae oppa about this, I bet he will crack up laughing at the thought of that. Anyway, I looked down at the cupcakes in front of me, there was a strawberry and a chocolate crème. Hmm… which one should I try first? I picked the chocolate crème and slowly peeled away the wrapper and bit into it.
