concert
I went to the Tyler concert with Katie last night. It was quite fun. We almost didn't make it though because my uncle supposedly broke down on the highway. So we were waiting at my grandmother's for him until 5:30 and we just had to leave without him. Then we went and took the train to the club. The train is not a plesant experience. Katie was standing ass to ass with this old man on the way there. haha. We finally got to the club and I was pleasantly suprised at how small it was. No matter where you were you were wicked close to the stage. Katie and I bought our shirts and then watched the opening act, Terra Naomi. She had a good voice but her songs were a bit disturbing. At eight Tyler finally came out. As did his band, and lucky for us we were standing on Jaco's side. I love Jaco. I took many pictures during the concert. He (Tyler of course) sang a bunch of songs off of his CD and then a few new ones. Kiss on was one of my favorites of the night, as was How Love Should Be. At the end of the concert he also did a mini cover of Mario's "You Should Let Me Love You", Jojo's "Leave (Get Out)", TLC's "Scrubs", and....I nearly died at this one...he began to rap as Eminem in 8 Mile. I tried to get some of them on my phone but ran out of room before I could get them all. I was dying. And he seemed to find it extremely amusing as he laughed the entire way through. It was a great concert. I'd say my second favorite one that I've been to. I was nearly deaf when we got out of there.
