coheed/thrice/thursday..couldnt ask for a better show!
last nite was the coheed, thrice and thursday show i didnt have a ticket so pat picked me up at my little work thing at 5 30 and we went to the speedline after pat had a fiasco with his ticket and couldnt find it. but alas we found it and got in the train at like 6 10.
get the the electric factory and u know work out all the kinks with my ticket but i got one. HOORAH!! so we waited in line for a while and met up with that kid whos house i went to like 2 weekends ago for his litlte party thing. so we were chillin in line with them when we finally went in. yea what. so coheed rahhhh comes on!! they opened with keeping the secrets. they played backend of forever and that made me really happy. pat was bummed because the 3 times that hes seen coheed they havent played Time Consumer. they weren't on for long and they kept messing up but i still enjoyed it very much. when they were done we went and stood by the merchandise and just chilled. saw casey and chris smack.
Thrice...mmmmm. beautiful. they opened with under killing moon [<3] and they played all the songs i wanted to hear. by this point i was in an absolute fantastic mood. Kill me quickly, melting point of wax....amazement
fuckin Thursday!! opened with [For the work force drowning] so we got casey and me her and pat went into the crowd and it fuckin rocked. paris in flames, cross out the eyes, JET BLACK [which they threw confetti out], understanding in a car crash...so much goodness. the crowd was f'n awesome and the circle pits were HUGE they had to get body guards in there. before he played a song he told us about he had gotten in a fight with his friend and they never made up and his friend got shot in the head and died. that really sad. he said to tell people you care about them no matter what. god thats just sad. i came out completely satisfied with that show. one of the best ones ive been to in a while. we waited outside to see if they would come out but it got too cold so we walked back to the train. we got home around 20 of 1 or so. i was exhausted but needed to eat. cinnamon life baby!!
i went into school late today. got to sleep an extra hour and a half and went in at 9 30, missed all of 1st period. after school i went to pats for like 10 min with dustin bob and dave. then i went to my hockey meeting then walked home in a the rain and pouring rain. i have to say it was actually refreshing.
