hey everyone wow its been a long time huh. let's see a lot has happened. im in high school now, dad died on july 24,my aunt died on new year's eve, gammy(my grandmother) died a few days ago febrary 17, and ah man too much has happened. it feels like everyone i know and care about i dont know its just like they're all dieing. it turns out the colitus is really bad and not getting better. so its finally surgery. i've always wanted to surgery but now that it's an option i dont want it. actually theres another reason why i dont want it now. it's because of the timing. see i love softball and if i have the surgery now then i'll probably be missing out on my season. i know its just a game, but its so much more than that to me. specially this year. through softball me and my dad bonded. it was something where it was just me and him. mom and ryan were supportive, but dad was the one that would sit at the games and cheer me on or yell at me if i messed up. lol i dont know i just dont want to lose him. softball was so much more than a game and not being able to play would be heartbreaking. my relationship with my mother hasnt been the best either. i cant remember when we had a civil conversation. i think its cause of dad dieing and now with my grandmother well its not gonna help the cause. ok well enough with all this poor me thing cant stand it. through all the bad things there have been really good things. on july 1 we added another family. kim and kevin had another little boy named keegan humason. i saw the true colors of a uncle i thought was i dont know less of a man but he came through and suprised us all especially me. all these wakes and funerals are a horrible way to get everyone you know together but it shows how many people love and care about you. dad's wake there was at least 1000 people there. at my grandmother's the outcome was good, seeing she was a little old lady who lived in a nursing home for the past 4 years. what was even more shocking was how many of my friends and their parents came. some people i didnt even tell where the wake was or what time it was and they took it upon themselves to look it up and come support me and my family. thats another good thing thats happened. i have seen who my real friends are. even people im not really close to have asked me how im feeling and if theres anythign that they can do. it shows tremendous character. wow i've said stuff in here that i havent said to anyone.alright im done with this swishy-washy stuff. i'll try to update tomorrow but im really busy so ill talk to you when i talk to you.
~Quote of the Day~
it doesnt matter how many friends you have, it only matters how many true friends you have.
