Reader, this is a small story taking us back in time, when the two Elric boys were young, before they attempted to bring their mother back, before all the calamity started. Now, first of all. there are some definitions we should look at, and they will continue to pop up during the story, of course. But since I am a writer with a small amount of time to give you this story, I will not write down the pronounciations. You're completely capable of looking for that yourself, right?
Definition 1: Brothers. The relation between Edward and Alphonse Elric.
Definition 2: Love. The extremely strong emotion that intertwines the two brothers.
Definition 3: Fight. A battle that happens extremely rarely between Ed and Al, and when it does happen, it causes quote a commotion.
Small peach hands reached up and attempted to grab a multi-colored block with the first six letters of the alphabet printed on each side.
Definiton 4. Alphonse Elric: The sweet, polite, and more reserved youngest of the two Elrics.
"Give it back! Please, brother!"
"No, Al, I told you; this block is mine. I'm building something, see? You wouldn't understand building, anyways; you're too young." said the taller boy, his own hands gripping the other side of the block.
Definition 5. Edward Elric: The smart, stubborn, easily angered eldest brother of the two Elrics.
"But I want a block, too! Give it back!" Alphonse shrieked, but, alas, Edward refused to let go of the toy block. Suddenly, Ed tugged one more time, causing Alphonse to fall back, somehow ending up hurting his wrist.
Now, reader, do you know what happened next? Do you think Ed would dance in triumph for having the block in his grasp? Well, if you do, you don't know fluff stories very well, reader.
Edward immediately tossed the block aside, rushing to his brother and asking him several times if he was okay. This was dumb, of course, considering Alphonse was of course hurt, but Alphonse felt relieved in knowing that his brother still cared for him.
"Want me to kiss it?"
"What?" Al blinked.
"Your wrist. Like mom does when we get hurt. It makes the pain go away, right?" Edward leaned downwards and gently grabbed his brother's wrist, bringing his lips towards the injury and softly kissing it. The pain was still there, but Alphonse was oblivious to it; he felt that the pain had left the second those two light pink tinted lips had touched his flesh.
"On the lips?"
"What?"
"A kiss on the lips. Can I have one? Mom does that, too." Alphonse asked shyly. Edward coud not refuse to his brother, considering he was the one that caused the injury, so he brought his own lips to his brothers, shutting his eyes.
Definition 6: Kiss. The wonderful verb that began the deeper relationship between the brothers, the one some of us never knew of before now, for they kept it a secret from even their own family. Why? It was a sin. But a wonderful one, nonetheless.
