Summary: Just some drabble.
“Yuugi, I love you…” his voice trailed off, unaware of what he was saying.
“Jounouchi… I… I wish I could say the same…” the shorter boy replied. As these words came out of his mouth, Jounouchi ran away. Scared, that’s what he was. If Yuugi didn’t love him, who would? No one! The world was a cruel place. He had found who he loved, only to hit the harsh reality; the one he loved didn’t love him back. Breathing deeply, he stopped to rest. The running had made him tired. His legs were now numb. Minutes later, he felt a hand on his shoulder
.
“I’m sorry, Jounouchi. I love you, too.” Upon hearing the words he longed to hear, he turned to face Yuugi, then slipped his peach hands around his waist. Shutting his brown eyes, his lips met those of his beloved. Embraced, now, the two were, in a full kiss. Yuugi broke away and smiled.
“I should be getting home, Jou-kun,” were his last words before disappearing in the night. Satisfied, Jounouchi walked his separated way home.
“Yuugi,” said his Yami, trying not to hide his tears. “I’m glad you found the one you love.” Love, thought Yuugi. The one I love.
