It's just me and my teddy today!
Well, looks like you guys get to be the first to hear the news. Last night I had tumbling and was actually doing pretty well in class. Well, when we were conditioning I did something weird and my little toe bent under the rest of my foot. It made this really loud cracking noise and Virginia goes "Wow, that sounded like it hurt!" It turned red really fast but I didn't think much of it. I came home and put some ice on it, and then an hour later it was killing me. Also, the whole side of my foot was huge (and purple)! My mom was like "C'mon we're going to the emergency room." So we did. We got there at like 10:30 and didn't get home 'til 2 in the morning. They x-rayed it and said they couldn't find a break, but there might be a hairline fracture, and they'd call me tomorrow. The doctor said that I had most likely popped it out of socket but it's back in now. They gave me one of those weird shoe things (like you wear when you have a cast on your foot) and I'm not supposed to walk on it for 48 hours. That's why I'm not at school today. I seriously never knew that my little toe would make me not be able to walk. But it's so hard, and it hurts so bad! The really bad thing is that cheerleading tryouts are in two weeks, and if this doesn't heal, then I can't try-out. Also, I'm really close to getting my back-handspring...but now I probably can't get it because I won't be able to tumble now. I think that's the only reason why I'm upset.
