hey everyone!! well i got back from the surgery probably about an hour ago. ok at 10:45 we left the house and we got to the hospital at like 11:00. well we waited for like 15 minutes or so in the waiting room, then they took me into this other room. then they made me change into like this gown thing and they brought me these blankets that were like heated!! hhaa they were SSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo warm!!! lol so anyways we waited for a long time and my dad came like 10 minutes later. then we waited some more. then a nurse came in and gave me this stuff to drink to make me relaxed or whatever. then we waited a little more. then this doctor came in and he gave me two options for the IV.
(1) put the iv in now and they would put medicine in it to make me go asleep right awat.
(2) make me breathe this stuff through a mask for like a minute to make me fall asleep, then put the iv in while i was asleep.
well idk about you all but i hate needles and stuff like that when it comes to them going into people so i brothe (is that a word?? if it's not it's supposed to be the plural for breathe) through the mask and then i got all drowsy and dizzy. then thats all i remember. then i woke up like 15 minutes later and i had my pinky straight and it was "buddy taped" to my other finger, i had a part-bloody band-aid over where i got some shots, and the iv thing was in my hand...and I was in the recovery room or whatever. so then my mom and dad came into the room and they brought me some food and drinks (did i mention i wasn't allowed to eat since midnight until my surgery was over!) and then they took the iv out (gross) and then after a little while we were able to come home!
so thats pretty much it! I just hafta keep my pinky taped to my other fingers and put this cast/sling thing that i had on before over it in case it gets hurt or bumped.
