it's the case of noticing something for the first time and then forgetting about it altogether the next day. the next time u notice it, u observe it again and let it pass, but not before making a serious note of it. but after the third, fourth, fifth and sixth time.. it's just jumping out there in front of you and you cant get it outta ur head.
bill clinton loves his pink tie! he's been going pink since before i met him, he was pinky-pink when he signed my book, n he's been pinking ever since until now. n earlier on letterman, he pinked again.
i've also caught john kerry copying the blue shirt-pink tie combo on numerous ocassions too. am i missing somethin, is this the hottest trend of summer 04, or have the politicians figured that pink has got the tendency to draw in the voters? maybe it's true that women look favorably upon men in pink, and since the majority of active voters here are women.. perhaps that's not too farfetched a conclusion.
on the other hand, could it in fact be a show of gay power? mmm.. nah. tat'll require a rainbow tie. i'm really not sure if pink's a gay color anyway.
i think i'm gonna look out for a nice pink tie when i'm out shopping this week, and start collecting fashion tips from bill.
